PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Sleeper Avenue Bridge is a pedestrian bridge over Stevens Creek, connecting the Stevens Creek Trail to the east, and the Sleeper Park to the west. This project will retrofit the eastern bridge abutment to install an aluminum waler, anchor rod, and sheet pile anchor to mitigate bank erosion issues and loss of lateral support. The sheet pile anchor will be installed underground in the open space between the top of creek bank and Stevens Creek Trail, and the construction work will take place above the creek bank.
